Mosquitoes in Winter, A New Job, And Bombs Going off!

Well, turns out there are mosquitoes in the winter.  I couldn't believe it when I saw one camping out on the wall beside my bed last night.  It's freezing out.

I found out last week that I have to get a new job.  My school is closing down at the end of December.  Pray that I hear the Lord's will.

And to top, today North Korea bombed an island not far from where I live.  I live in Incheon, near Seoul.  Maybe God's saying something.  Like get out!  We'll see.  May Jesus richly bless you all!

The Free Open-Air Gym on the Hill in Yeonsu

Big, fat awkward men were gathered on the hill early last Saturday morning.  They're always there at the free gym off the trail up the mountain.  No woman dare venture there.  These men pump iron and stare at one another and think they know more than everyone.  Their strange bodies look like bags of rocks and potatoes, and their faces look like Kim Jung Il, all of 'em.

Then an American shows up, and a South African.  Isaac is giving me my first training.  He's going to redeem my atrophied body.  We start slow and light.  Then, the village know-it-all tells us something in Korean.  He says I need more weight.  Another comes along later and says the same thing.  Isaac steps onto the scene and shows them a thing or to.

The Korean says he's been training for five years.  He has a beer belly and some clunky muscles under his shirt.  Isaac shows the guy his six pack and nearly pokes out the Korean's eyes with them.  The Korean's eyes bulge out and nearly crash with Isaac's stomach muscles as they meet in the middle.
